Manifest Identity’s publishing services offer knowledge and know-how to authors wanting to publish a serious, salable book. Authors at the beginning of the publishing process are often surprised to realize that even after having worked hard on their manuscript, often for years, much work still remains. Manifest Identity can help make sure that all that work results in the best book possible.
The innovative ways in which Lindy handled matters right from the start quickly showed me the vast extent and depth of her experience and knowledge. Her keen perspective was likewise invaluable and her advice was always most helpful and reassuring. It was a joy for me to be associated with such a dedicated and talented professional.”
—Peter Dow Bachelder, author of A Century of Service & Vacationland
First Steps for Book Manuscripts
Authors come to Manifest Identity with manuscripts at all stages of completion and with different goals in mind. After a conversation with Lindy, most manuscripts start in Publishing Consulting for an assessment and some remain there for further refinement. When a manuscript is ready, it goes into Independent Publishing, if that is the route the author and Lindy have decided is right for their book. Manuscripts that have already been professionally edited sometimes start in Cover and Book Design.
- Help discerning the best route to publication.
- Refining an existing manuscript to become publication-ready.
- For authors who want to publish independently with professional support.
- Offers independent authors the same support provided by the editor’s, designers, and project managers at a traditional publishing house.
